Introduction to personality psychology: The Big 5 traits

This course is designed to introduce you to the world of personality psychology. Specifically, the course will focus on The Big 5 Trait Theory, the most dominant and commonly utilized personality theory in psychology, which is comprised of five unique traits: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism.

In this course, you will learn what each of these traits are, how they predict real-life behavior, how traits interact, and whether personality can be changed. After completing this course, you will have a more in-depth understanding of why people do the things they do, as well as new insight into your own personality.
