Annette Poizner, MSSW, EdD, RSW, is a Columbia-trained clinical social worker and psychotherapist who uses Projective Personality Assessment in her clinical practice, analyzing handwriting, dreams, drawings, and additional material submitted by clients. Her doctoral dissertation, completed at the University of Toronto, explored the use of graphology within psychotherapy. This specialized work has been featured in dailies across Canada, in trade magazines like Reader’s Digest, First for Women, and Dujour, and in academic publications. Her textbook, Clinical Graphology: An Interpretive Manual for Mental Health Practitioners (Charles C Thomas Pub), has introduced graphology, a little known European technique, to the North American clinical community. She also blogs about handwriting at the Huffington Post.
