Course: How world affairs work

My PhD was in international relations (London School of Economics). I’ve taught world affairs (among others) at Oxford, Princeton, Tokyo, and Melbourne. I’ve done research at Cambridge (UK), the New School for Social Research (NY), Sciences Po (Paris), and the Frankfurt Peace Research Institute. I’ve worked as a public servant as well as for the United Nations and have published books, book chapters, and articles. I currently live in Karuizawa, Japan—here’s a photo of me as a cherry blossom.
